  • Sapphire– In 2003, was estimated to have $1 billion worth of damages done.

Main rule for having a PC, is always make sure you DO NOT ignore updates that show up on your computer. Those are to help notify you if something is threatening your system and if you had a virus that came across your systems notifications. Making sure you do your updates when they show up or when they are schedule, make sure you do them, or else you risk the chance at having a bad virus and your system crashes.

Main rule for your website, is making sure your websites applications are clean when downloading the latest update when asked to do so. It helps prevent people from hacking your site and adding malicious code and spreading virus throughout your entire site.

PC users say that their password is 75% secure that will protect their personal data, and about 50% of small business sites say the same thing. The most common passwords that are used now a days would be

  • Numeric System
  • Letters
  • Uppercase
  • Lowercase
  • Password entry (name of pet, friend, family member etc)

Best way to ensure a secure password is to have at least one character that has a upper and lower case letter, number and special character. Must contain up to 9 letters used for both PC and Website.
